As revealed by Sai Dharam Tej himself recently, he had been very close to Pawan Kalyan right from the childhood time. In fact, Sai revealed that Pawan was the one who groomed him mentally when he was a kid.
Now, in a new development, Sai met Pawan recently and the latter gave a set of special gifts. Sai took to social media to explain the prominence of these gifts.
“There is something special about the gifts received from Kalyan Mavayya’s blessings. These are artworks refined by Savara artists. They were brought from the Lepakshi showroom in Andhra Pradesh.
Learning about them revealed the greatness of Savara painters. The Savara tribe, residing in the agency areas of North Andhra, brings their culture and lifestyle onto canvas through beautiful paintings. All colors used are natural. Recently, some Savara artists have also started painting these figures on beautiful dolls and decorative items.
The number of Savara artists is gradually decreasing. To preserve this art which has centuries of history, we need everyone’s encouragement.
As the Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Mr. Pawan Kalyan garu is gifting Savara paintings, Kondapalli, and Etikoppaka toys to guests. Let’s do the same. Thank you, Deputy CM Sir.” Sai tweeted. This shows the way in which Pawan values craftsmanship and integrity. The desire to give global attention to forgotten native talent is evident here.
