Bollywood actress Jacqueline Fernandez, who was removed from Powerstar Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu, has landed in major legal trouble after she was accused of enjoying the proceeds of a Rs 200 crore crime. It is known that her boyfriend conman Sukesh Chandrashekar had allegedly extorted a huge amount from Aditi Singh.
The star diva has been arrested in the sensational case and was granted bail. She recently appeared before the Court for the final argument in the bail petition, which is strongly opposed by the officials of the Enforcement Directorate.
Special Public Prosecutor Shailesh N Pathak, appearing on behalf of the ED, opposed Jacqueline’s bail, stating in the court that she made an abortive bid to flee away from India. He revealed that the actress was not allowed to leave the country by the immigration authorities, as there was a lookout notice against her.
The ED further told the court that the B-town star had tampered with evidence during the probe by erasing data from her mobile phone. However, Jacqueline’s lawyer dismissed ED’s claims and told the court that the actress has been cooperative since the beginning of the investigation.
