The pre-release speech of Pawan Kalyan at Sai Dharam Tej’s Republic film event sparked a political war with the Andhra Pradesh Government. Pawan, the founder of Janasena party in 2014, faced retaliation as the government lowered theater ticket rates to affect the Telugu film industry.
After intervention from prominent actors like Chiranjeevi, Mahesh Babu, and Prabhas, the ticket rate issue was resolved.
Nevertheless, the government continued targeting Pawan Kalyan’s films like Vakeel Saab and Bheemla Nayak with restrictions on special shows and limited screenings. Surprisingly, Pawan’s upcoming film Bro The Avatar remains unaffected by the political conflict.
The film is complying with the revised G.O, offering five shows per day, without applying for ticket price hikes. Hence, Bro The Avatar’s ticket rates will align with the G.O in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
