Ex-TDP leader and current BJP leader Annam Satish said that the Janasena party is going to get merged with BJP in December.
When Janasena along with its chief Pawan Kalyan had faced a miserable defeat in the recent assembly and Lok Sabha elections, many felt that the party may get merged with TDP or BJP anytime soon. But in several occasions, the actor turned politician strictly said that he is not going to merge Janasena with any party and is going to run it as an independent political party till the end.
In fact, BJP requires a strong leader to represent the party in Andhra Pradesh. Apart from it, the national party has all other sources to make it big in AP. On the other side, Pawan Kalyan is the only face of Janasena, and there is no other leader in the party, who is popular among the public. Adding to it, Janasena is in dire need of funds to move forward and run the party.
At this point of time, Pawan’s entry into BJP, is expected to be a win-win situation for both Pawan and also the Lotus Party. He can also be a Chief Minister candidate, which is expected to give a mega boost to his fans.
But if Pawan really had any such intentions of merging the party, he could have at least made a diplomatic statement, instead of turning it down immediately. So Annam Satish might have stated about the merge, only to create a confusion among the political circles, but nothing else.
