Power Star Pawan Kalyan has scored the biggest success of his career with the movie OG, directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Danayya and Kalyan Dasari under DVV Entertainment. The film released on September 25 after special shows on September 24 and has been receiving a massive response from fans and audiences everywhere.
From the very first show, OG became a celebration. Viewers loved Pawan Kalyan’s magnetic screen presence, Sujeeth’s stylish direction, Thaman’s powerful music, and the grand visuals by cinematographers Ravi K Chandran and Manoj Paramahamsa. The movie has already crossed ₹252 crore worldwide in its first weekend, creating history as the highest-grossing film of Pawan Kalyan’s career.
To celebrate this success, a grand event was held at Trident Hotel, Hyderabad, with Pawan Kalyan and the full OG team.
Speaking at the event, Pawan Kalyan said OG was very special to him. He thanked Sujeeth, Thaman, Ravi K Chandran, Imran Hashmi, Priyanka Mohan, Arjun Das, Shreya Reddy, and the entire team. He revealed that he did not fully know the story in the beginning but trusted Sujeeth after seeing his son Akira Nandan enjoy it. Pawan Kalyan also promised that a sequel or prequel to OG will be made in the future. He added, “OG has given me the strength to do films again. With the time I have, I want to continue the OG universe.”
Director Sujeeth shared that it was destiny that brought him to work with Pawan Kalyan. He thanked Trivikram for recommending him and DVV Danayya for full support. He revealed that Pawan Kalyan himself gave him confidence to plan another film, which has now started the OG universe.
Producer DVV Danayya credited Trivikram and praised Pawan Kalyan’s hard work and the dedication of the team. Music director Thaman said OG was a miracle and that he worked with full responsibility keeping Pawan’s fans in mind. Heroine Priyanka Mohan expressed her joy for playing the role of Kanmani and called it one of the most special roles of her career.
Veteran producer Dil Raju praised the film and said fans will always be happy if Pawan Kalyan gives one OG every year.
