The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had a Hindi conversation with the 16th finance commission at the Andhra Pradesh Secretariat yesterday. At this meeting, Kalyan presented the case of the financial allocations that are to be made to the Panchayat Raj and other related departments.
On this matter, Kalyan tweeted “It was a highly productive meeting with the esteemed members of the 16th Finance Commission led by Dr. @APanagariya ji . Under Hon. CM Sri @ncbn Garu ,Andhra Pradesh presented comprehensive recommendations for strengthening governance & economic self-reliance and also highlighted our concerns.
And our Gram Panchayats are paving the way for Swarna Andhra Pradesh. From digital panchayats to pothole free rural roads, from gram sabhas to gokulams, from creating sustainable infrastructure in remote areas to generating wealth from waste, we are transforming our villages as engines of growth. Our 13,371 Gram Panchayats shall play a very instrumental role in realizing the Hon. PM @narendramodi ji’s dream of Viksit Bharat. Andhra Pradesh is committed to making our villages self-reliant and prosperous. “
