Pawan Kalyan has shifted all of his focus towards politics for quite some time now, and he is one leader who isn’t afraid of speaking his mind. He’s always celar of his opinions, and always is the first person to respond to the needs of people, and call out other parties for their shortcomings, and even appreciate them when necessary.
Now, the actor turned politician has made some really interesting and shocking statements on the film industry. Pawan said that everyone believes that there is a lot of money flow in the film industry, but that is not true. He said that there are a lot of tax deductions, and the actual money a person gets is far away from the actual figure that keeps doing the rounds.
Pawan also said that everyone needs to understand that it’s not easy to give away crores of rupees as donations during a financial crisis, and that people need to understand that whatever amount has been given by any celebrity is a lot of money, when compared to the standards of their own earnings. He further explained that to make a movie, several different kinds of people, with varied skill sets have to come together, and despite the many efforts of all of these people, it is not always that a movie yields profits.
Taking the example of Orange, Pawan said that they had to sell their assets to cope with the loss of the film. He stressed on the fact that the film industry is very small in terms of cash flow, when compared to other industries like real estate business and politics, where there’s a constant inflow of thousands of crores on any given day and time.
Pawan said that all those politicians who waste thousands of crores for campaigning should now come forward and help the people who are in the worst conditions.
