The Eleswaram–Addatheegal road in Kakinada district has become dangerous due to many potholes. Local people have been facing serious problems while traveling on this stretch. Recently, a resident posted photos of the damaged road on social media and tagged Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, requesting urgent repairs.
Pawan Kalyan reacted immediately to the post. He directed Kakinada district officials and Roads & Buildings (R&B) engineers to take up repairs without delay. He ordered them to fill the potholes and restore the road for safe travel.
He also announced that the 10.5 km road will soon be reconstructed using NDB (New Development Bank) funds. He asked officials to pay special attention to road maintenance, so that such problems do not trouble people again.
Speaking on the issue, Pawan Kalyan said that the main aim of the coalition government is to provide pothole-free roads for the public. He assured that the government is committed to improving infrastructure and making travel easier for citizens across Andhra Pradesh.
