The deputy CM of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan had an elongated meeting with CM Chandrababu today which went on for two long hours. The CM and his deputy CM met at the Undavalli residence of Chandrababu.
Recently, Pawan Kalyan, accompanied by Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Minister Nadendla Manohar, inspected the Kakinada Deep Seaport and the government-owned Anchorage Port in the wake of alleged illegal export of rice supplied through the PDS.
During the inspection, the West-Africa-bound cargo ship `Stella L Panama’ was found loaded with 38,000 metric tonnes of rice including 640 MT meant for PDS.
This the focal point of the discussion today as the Deputy CM wanted to curb these anti social activities at the Kakinada port at any cost. The timing of the meeting is so elongated that people have started to speculate what other topic might have come to a discussion here.
