Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan extended his greetings to the Chartered Accountancy fraternity on the occasion of National Chartered Accountants Day, observed on July 1.
In his message, Pawan Kalyan conveyed his best wishes to the members of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) and acknowledged their valuable contribution to the country’s financial system. He noted that the day marks the establishment of ICAI in 1949 and celebrates the vital role Chartered Accountants have played in strengthening India’s financial architecture.
The Deputy Chief Minister said Chartered Accountants are more than financial professionals, describing them as trusted partners in nation-building. He highlighted their role in promoting transparency, accountability, ethical governance, and responsible financial management across institutions.
Pawan Kalyan also stated that the expertise and integrity of Chartered Accountants have contributed significantly to economic growth, investor confidence, institutional strength, and sustainable development. He added that their commitment to professional excellence continues to reinforce public trust in the country’s financial and governance systems.
Looking ahead, he expressed confidence that the Chartered Accountancy profession would continue to play a key role in achieving the vision of a developed India, or “Viksit Bharat,” by supporting a resilient, transparent, and globally competitive economy.
Concluding his message, Pawan Kalyan wished the entire Chartered Accountancy fraternity continued success and appreciated their dedicated service to the nation.
