Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan has extended his support to the Dokka Seethamma Mid-Day Meal Smart Kitchen Project in Kadapa by donating ₹10 lakh from his personal funds. The contribution was confirmed by the Kadapa District Collector, who also highlighted Pawan Kalyan’s inspiration behind the initiative.
According to the Collector, the Smart Kitchen Project has been named Dokka Seethamma Mid-Day Meal and aims to provide nutritious meals to people on a large scale through a modern and efficient cooking facility. The project is currently preparing and serving nearly 12,000 meals every day, benefiting thousands of people across the district.
Officials revealed that the project has been designed with future expansion in mind. In the coming phase, the Smart Kitchen is expected to significantly increase its capacity and serve up to one lakh meals per day, making it one of the largest community meal initiatives in the region.
Pawan Kalyan’s financial contribution and encouragement are being viewed as a major boost for the project. The initiative reflects a collective effort to strengthen food security and expand access to quality meals through technology-driven infrastructure. With plans for rapid expansion, the Dokka Seethamma Mid-Day Meal project is expected to benefit many more people in the months ahead.
