The deputy chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Pawan Kalyan visited Karnataka yesterday, and he had a very pleasant interaction with the local leadership there.
In this context, Pawan Kalyan shared “Today marks a historic milestone in the perpetual ethos of cooperation and unity between the esteemed states of Bharat, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka. I am immensely grateful for the gracious gesture of Karnataka Government, in handing over the Kumki elephants to Andhra Pradesh at the prestigious Vidhana Soudha. This is not just an administrative formality, but a testament of cooperative federalism.
These trained Kumki elephants play a crucial role in mitigating the loss of human lives and crop damage caused by wild elephant attacks resulting from human-wildlife conflict in Andhra Pradesh.
What makes this even more special is the spirit in which it was done. The moment our state raised the proposal, the response from the Karnataka Government was swift, respectful, and above politics.
this is a crucial trip in enhancing the bilateral relationships between the governments of Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka.
