Election heat is ON in Andhra Pradesh. With the capital shift row still a problem in Andhra Pradesh, the equations of the AP politics has changed significantly. Now every party is looking to test their mettle in the upcoming local body elections.
Elections to the local bodies in Andhra Pradesh should be held within one month as per the directions of the High Court, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy told officials during a review meeting in Amaravati.
There are some reports that notification for the ZPTC elections will be released on March 7th and the elections will be held on 21st this month. For Municipality election notification will be on 10th March and elections will be on 24th. For Panchayat elections notification will be released on 15th and March 27th is the date for these polls.
Now, the newly formed alliance Janasena-BJP is desperate to grab some seats and prove the state that they are a force to reckon. As a part of this, Pawan Kalyan is planning to tour many villages across the state and the rest will be covered by Nadendla Manohar. On the other side, BJP wants to use the name of Pawan Kalyan in their campaigning.
