Director Praveen Kandregula, known for his acclaimed debut movie Cinema Bandi, is now preparing for the release of his second film, Paradha. This film is supported by famous producers Raj and DK, creators of The Family Man, and serves as the first project for Ananda Media. The production team includes Vijay Donkada, Sreenivasulu PV, and Sridhar Makkuva. The movie stars well-known actors Anupama Parameswaran, Darshana Rajendran and Sangitha.
After the movie’s poster, concept video, and teaser received lots of praise, The first song ‘Maa Andhaala Siri’ was launched. Composed by Gopi Sundar, the track blends classical and modern music to create a timeless feel. It is sung by Sri Krishna and Ramya Behara, whose voices bring emotion and charm to the song.
Vanamali, the lyricist, highlights the traditions and challenges faced by women in rural areas. The lyrics celebrate a girl’s beauty while showing how she loses her freedom as she grows up. It also reflects the cultural practice of women covering their faces. Anupama’s role as a young girl dealing with these changes adds emotional depth to the story.
The song also hints at the developing love story between Anupama’s character and Rag Mayur. Themes like identity and freedom are explored, while the cinematography by Mridul Sujit Sen beautifully captures the rural setting.
