After witnessing a massive victory in Telangana assembly elections, Chief Minister KCR, said that he is deeply dissatisfied with both BJP and Congress and is so aiming to create an alternate government at the Centre. At this point of time, AIMIM Chief Owaisi came in support of KCR saying that he is willing to see the TRS president as the Prime Minister.
Speaking to the media, Owaisi said that as the people are not happy with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, there is every possibility for the anti-BJP and anti-Congress front to come forward to form the Central government, making the regional leader as the Prime Minister. On that grounds, Owaisi said that his and his party’s choice of PM would be KCR.
Owaisi opined that this front would represent India’s political diversity and there are many regional leaders who are much more capable than Modi and Rahul Gandhi.
The AIMIM Chief also said that the Congress and BJP will be tough in 100 out of 543 Lok Sabha constituencies. But in the remaning seats, even the regional parties will give a stiff competition to both BJP and Congress.
While TRS is contesting only in 16 constituencies, leaving 1 seat to AIMIM, it seems, Owaisi’s support to TRS is now is a mutual understanding between the duo.
