What could be more shocking than knowing that over 15,000 cheques received for the Ram temple in Ayodhya have bounced?
Yes, about 15,000 bank cheques worth Rs 22 crore, collected by the Vishva Hindu Parishad for the construction of the Ram temple, have bounced.
We know lakhs of people including several business magnets in the country had donated to the construction of the Ram temple with utmost devotion.
But the audit report of Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra said the cheques bounced due to lack of funds in bank accounts or some technical error.
Trust member Dr Anil Mishra said banks are trying to solve technical errors and the individuals will be given a chance to correct the errors.
As per reports, among the bounced cheques, over 2,000 were collected from Ayodhya. The other 13,000 cheques were received from different parts of India.
