The pre-release event of the upcoming film Operation Valentine, featuring Varun Tej in the lead role, took place in Hyderabad tonight. The film is directed by debutant Shakti Pratap Singh, and features Meenakshi Chaudhary and Ruhani Sharma as the leading ladies.
Navdeep and Abhinav Gomatam will be seen in key roles in this film, which is based on the air strike carried out by the Indian airforce on February 14th, after the Pulwama attack. Director Shakti thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi for gracing the event as the chief guest, and thanked everyone that worked for the film for all their efforts, and expressed confidence in the film doing well.
Talking about the film, Varun Tej said that a lot of effort went into making this film, and said that he hopes and believes that the audience will shower their love on this film, which is a tribute to the Indian airforce. He thanked Megastar Chiranjeevi for supporting him by coming to the pre-release event, and went on to say that they are who they are because of him and Powerstar Pawan Kalyan. He said that while Chiru is the heart of the family, Pawan Kalyan is the heartbeat of it.
Megastar Chiranjeevi lauded the entire team for all their efforts, and praised the director for completing the film within 40days. He also said that the director managed to give a wonderful output within a limited budget, which the audiences will be able to see on the big screen. He expressed happiness over the film being the first of its kind in Telugu, and hoped that the audiences will encourage and support the film, when it releases on March 1st.
