After winning four MP seats in Telangana, in the recent Lok Sabha elections, BJP is pinning high hopes on the state and is working towards forming the government by 2023 elections.
So to strengthen the party operations in Telangana, BJP’s working president JP Nadda is visiting Hyderabad on Sunday to boost the party workers. Even the Union Minister Amit Shah has promised to visit the state, once in a month and suggest appropriate strategies to take the BJP political activities forward. Adding to it, Shah has also decided to hold a large public meeting on September 17th, on the occasion of the Telangana Liberation Day.
While TDP has a minimal impact in Telangana, it still chose to stay away from the Lok Sabha elections, as the ruling party leaders warned Telugu Desam to stay away from the TS elections. So the TDP may not contest in Telangana any more.
YSRCP on the other side, is maintaining friendly ties with the TRS. There is no way that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will disturb the relation, by contesting in the TS elections. So KCR, is now left with facing only the two national parties- BJP and Congress.
Even after winning three MP seats in Telangana, the Congress party is completely silent and has not hinted any political developments in the state. So the major fight in the 2023 elections, is expected to be witnessed between TRS and BJP itself.
