It is known that Megastar Chiranjeevi has appealed to the Telugu state governments to take the initiative to solve the problems of the film industry. In this context, the AP government on Monday met with celebrities from the film industry and theatre owners. The issue of online tickets was discussed at the meeting.
AP Cinematography Minister Perni Nani said that they will soon entertain the people through an online ticketing system. He spoke to reporters after the meeting with celebrities and said CM YS Jagan has respect towards Chiranjeevi.
“The Jagan Mohan Reddy government will respond positively to any request to benefit the people. We explained to them about the rates fixed by the government. The distributors and theatre owners should implement the prices set by the government, which is an attempt by the YSRCP government to provide entertainment through the online system. This received a positive response from all quarters. Many things have been brought to our attention. We have looked into their appeals. No one at today’s meeting asked about the benefit shows,” said Nani.
Speaking to the media, producer C. Kalyan said that the AP government stood by them in all matters. In response to a question, he said that the government would definitely give permission to apply for the benefit show of newly released films.
