Political leaders shifting their political parties is nothing new, as it has been prevalent for as long as political parties have existed. In the recent times, several Telangana political leaders have changed their parties, and it is now being said that former minister and key TRS leader Jupalli Krishna Rao planning to leave the TRS.
After having lost the 2018 assembly elections in his home turf of Kollapur in the former Mahabubnagar district, Jupalli’s political graph has been on the downslide. With the Congress candidate Hashavardhan Reddy, who defeated him, joining the ruling TRS, Jupally’s importance has come down. He has been painting a low profile ever since then, looking for the right opportunity and party to change to.
While the BJP is said to be enthusiastic to have Jupally be a part of them, he is said to be not interested, as DK Aruna is the national Vice President in BJP. Jupally and DK Aruna never saw eye to eye when they were in Congress, with Aruna causing his constant obstacles. As a result, Jupally is said to be interested in joining the Congress party, as he is already familiar with the party.
