The atrocities against the Hindu religion and Hindu Gods and temples are increasing by the day, in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
Things started to come out after the infamous burning of the Antarvedi Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy Chariot, and then, the missing silver lions on the chariot of Vijayawada Kanaka Durga.
Most recently, the Sri Rama idol of the famous Ramatheertham temple was disfigured, with the head of the idol being cut off from the rest of the body.
Protests regarding this incident are still going on, and everyone is still on fire regarding this issue, and before this heat could simmer down a bit, yet another incident took place in Prakasam District’s Singarayakonda.
The Varaha Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple in old Singarayakonda village is known as the Southern Simhachalam of Andhra Pradesh.
On Tuesday morning, the statues at the entrance were visibly disfigured, with their arms cut off.
Localites had spotted this first, and immediately reported it to the police, after which CI Srinivasulu and SI Sampath Kumar had reached the site.
Members belonging to the YSRCP and TDP have also reached the temple as sson as they got information of the same.
What’s baffling though, is that the government is simply taking no action to make sure that such events do not take place in the future.
For anything, the YSRCP government is simply resorting to CBI enquiries, which take years to come to an end, despite there being no assurance of justice being served.
