The YSRCP seems to be harbouring more and more rebel members within the party, with one member after another, making statements against the way the party is functioning, and against the ways of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy.
In a recent incident, YSRCP MLA from Tadipatri constituency Kethireddy Pedda Reddy said that Jagan shouldn’t cheat the people, and tell lies to them, for the sake of winning the elections, and for being in a position of power, for his selfishness. He said that Jagan is in the kind of position right now, where he doesn’t know what to say, and what not to say, and said that everything Jagan says should be well thought about because the people are counting on him.
The MLA made these comments while participating in the cheque distribution programme for women beneficiaries of the YSR Aasara scheme on Monday. His speech confused everyone present at the event, with members of the YSRCP quick to tell everyone that the MLA’s speech was not intentional and that it was a slip of tongue. It should now be seen what sort of political repercussions this will result in.
