The title and first look of the upcoming film “Okka Adugu” were officially launched in a grand event attended by several noted film personalities including VN Aditya, Ashok Kumar, Samudra, Padmini Nagulapalli, Rama Satyanarayana, and Satya Master. The film is being produced under the Siri Creations banner and is written, directed, and headlined by Shekhar Model.
The launch event witnessed an encouraging response from industry seniors, who extended their support and best wishes to the team. “Okka Adugu” is being positioned as a content-driven film that aims to introduce fresh talent while showcasing Shekhar Model in multiple roles as actor, writer, producer, and director.
Speaking at the event, actor Murali appreciated Shekhar’s dedication and confidence, saying his passion and commitment stood out from the beginning. Satya Master expressed happiness over Shekhar being part of their studio family and hoped the film would bring him great recognition and success.
Producer Padmini Nagulapalli praised Shekhar for taking up multiple responsibilities and said fresh storytelling always connects strongly with audiences. Film Chamber Secretary Ashok Kumar highlighted the challenges involved in filmmaking and appreciated the team’s effort in handling every aspect independently. He also stated that strong content remains the biggest strength for any successful film.
Director Samudra revealed that legendary actor Krishnam Raju once considered the title “Okka Adugu,” calling it a powerful and memorable title. Directors’ Association President VN Aditya said Shekhar had taken three important steps forward simultaneously as an actor, producer, and director, and wished the film both critical and commercial success.
Dr. Kiran described Shekhar Model as a multi-talented personality with strong production knowledge and conveyed his best wishes to the entire team.
Addressing the gathering, Shekhar Model thanked all the senior film personalities and media members for supporting the project. He said he worked extensively on the film after learning different aspects of filmmaking and gaining experience under director Devakatta. He also mentioned that auditions were conducted to encourage talented newcomers and expressed confidence that the film would connect with audiences.
“Okka Adugu” features music by Subhash Anand, cinematography by Satish Muthyala, and editing by Raghavender. The film stars Shekhar Model along with several newcomers.
