Telangana Chief Minister KCR has clarified that he is not aiming for Prime Minister’s post, but is only concerned about solving the people’s problems across the country.
After concluding the Telangana Assembly elections in last December, KCR was busy in concentrating on Delhi. A few of the Telangana leaders like KTR, Owaisi have extended their support to KCR and wished to see him as the Prime Minister of the country.
Adding to it, even Panchayat Raj Minister Errabelli Dayakar Rao has pointed out that the leaders like Jawaharlal Nehru, PV Narasimha Rao have participated in a public meeting at the Azam Jahi Mills ground, before being elected as the Prime Minister. Now even KCR is following the similar path.
But right after Errabelli’s comments, KCR expressed his disinterest on Prime Minister’s seat, which shocked the TRS circles. However, a few opined that it was just an election stunt and nothing else. KCR is really keen about PM’s seat and is so striving his best in forming an alternative government at the Centre, the reports said
KCR efforts to make an impact at Centre
The TS CM opined that both Congress and the BJP governments at the Centre have failed miserably. So there is a requirement for the third option in the country. KCR stressed on the issues like poverty, power and water management, infrastructure development, agrarian crisis and Minimum Support Price for farm produce.
The CM appealed to the public to ensure the victory of TRS candidates in 16 Lok Sabha seats in Telangana and only then, it is possible for the regional party to make an impact at the Centre.
Chandrasekhar Rao also said that the Telangana had contributed Rs. 1 lakh crore in the Central kitty, whereas Modi released Rs. 24000 crores in return through devolution. He slashed PM for allegedly lying that the Central government had released Rs. 35000 crores to the state. KCR even challenged Modi to prove his statements or else apologize him.
