Claiming that the script demands, Amala Paul went naked in Aadai (Aame in Telugu). Though the teaser released a thumping release and even the similar opening was anticipated on the release day, much to the shock, the makers had to witness a dull opening.
While the morning shows were called off in Tamil on the release day, it was only the next day, the Telugu audience could catch up Aame in theaters. Amala Paul did not mind to give back her remuneration, to get the movie release on time, as she trusted the project so much. She also took a stand on her naked show controversy. Even after such kind of struggling for the film, Aame still bombed at the box office and left her a great disappointment.
The producer of Telugu version, Tammareddy Bharadwaja has now blamed the producers of Tamil version for the result. He said that Aame could not click at the box office, as the Tamil producers failed in releasing the film on time.
