Actor Manchu Manoj has reacted strongly to the recent POCSO case involving Bandi Bhageerath, son of Union Minister of State for Home Affairs Bandi Sanjay Kumar. In a detailed social media post, Manoj said the case had deeply disturbed him and stressed that justice must be delivered without any influence of power or status.
The actor stated that the POCSO Act was created to ensure justice for every minor girl and said no individual should receive special treatment because of political influence or position. He emphasized that every girl deserves equal protection under the Constitution and the law.
Manoj also highlighted the need for urgency, transparency, and accountability in cases involving minors. According to him, any delay, silence, or selective action in sensitive cases can weaken public trust in the justice system. He clarified that the issue should not be viewed through a political lens and said the truth must come out through a fair and transparent investigation.
Calling for an impartial legal process, Manoj expressed hope that the investigation would proceed without any pressure or external influence. He further stated that justice should not only be delivered but should also be visibly seen by the public, reinforcing the principle that nobody is above the law.
The actor tagged the Telangana Chief Minister’s Office, Telangana Police, DGP, and Hyderabad City Police in his post, urging authorities to ensure a transparent probe into the matter.
