Kodali Nani is one of the firebrand leaders in YSRCP and he has been the sitting MLA from Gudivada constituency since 2004. He served as the Gudivada MLA twice on TDP behalf and twice on YCP’s behalf.

However, Kodali has reacted on the matter and said he is confirmed to contest from Gudivada again on the YCP ticket. He said the rumors about him not contesting in the election have no credibility.
Kodali dispelled the rumors and confirmed that he is indeed contesting from Gudivada no matter what. He said the rumors about him getting replaced is a work of the pro- TDP media houses.
