Much to the relief of TDP, the YSRCP leader Ambati Rambabu has announced that the state government is not going to shift the Capital from Amaravati. He denied all the reports that said the capital shifting is taking place, opining that the opposition parties are intentionally ruling to mud-sling on the ruling party.
The spokesperson of YRSCP said that the state government has stopped all the construction works of Amaravati, only to dig all the irregularities that were performed by the previous government. Once they get rectified, then the ruling party will resume the works of Amaravati, Ambati said, hinting that it may take another six months.
“In fact, it is not just Amaravati, but many other projects in the state have been stopped by the YSRCP government, anticipating the irregularities by the previous government, “Ambati said, clarifying that Amaravati is going to be the Capital city of Andhra Pradesh for sure.
While a few felt that Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy may have compromised on his decision to shift the Capital owing to the criticism from all the sides, Ambati also clarified it, saying, “If Jagan had any such intentions of shifting the Capital, why he would have built his house in Amaravati.”
Meanwhile, Botsa Satyanarayana, who also belongs to YSRCP, earlier said that there is going to be a change in the Capital and also challenged that he would stand on his words under any circumstances. So it seems, the YSRCP is not happy with Botsa making such comments, without the permission of the high command.
Meanwhile, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu, who is worried of losing his identity in building Amaravati as Capital, is now relaxed with the comments of Ambati. However, it would be more clear and official, if Jagan himself opens up about it, which is expected to happen tomorrow.
