The Telangana poll officials have asked the Indian School of Business (ISB) to consider Nizamabad elections as a case study for the management students. The concerned officials even tried to list the election in Guinness Book of Records.
To protest against MP Kavitha, for the high turmeric prices, about 178 farmers have contested against Telangana MP in the recently concluded TS Lok Sabha elections and the results are yet to be out.
Along with Kavitha from TRS, D. Srinivas’s son Aravind from BJP and AICC Secretary Madhu Yashki from Congress, also contested from the same constituency, thus taking the total number of contestants from the constituency to 185.
“We recommended Nizamabad election to use as a case study under Supply Chain Management department. We used around 27 ballot units to conduct elections in Nizamabad,” Chief Electoral Officer Rajath Kumar said.
The election results are scheduled to be out on 23rd of this month, amidst of huge expectations, especially on Nizamabad constituency, due to the huge number of contestants from there.
