Telangana Chief Minister KCR met with JDU chief, a key political player of Bihar and the Chief Minsiter of the state, Nitish Kumar, today, and the duo participated in a media conference, where KCR spoke about the union of their parties, and how it is very important on a national level.
KCR said that every opposition party should come together in order to rid the country of BJP. He said that the front that all these opposition parties create will not be a third front, but will be the only front of the state, which is aimed at bettering the nation and its people. While KCR went on to talk about ridding the country of BJP and more of the same, Nitish Kumar interestingly said nothing.
In fact, when KCR said that Nitish would be leading them nationally, he even began to leave, but stayed back on the stage, upon KCR’s request. Not just that, but Nitish Kumar made no promises, and even said nothing about going against the BJP explicitly. This makes one wonder exactly how helpful Nitish Kumar will be to KCR, in the latter’s quest for emerging as a key player in national politics.
