Nimmagadda Prasad, who was arrested in Serbia recently, has been released on conditional bail. The court restricted him to stay in Belgrade, the capital city of Serbia.
The UAE government is supposed to complete the deportation process in a period of one year, as the bail conditions will last not longer than the said period.
As part of the red corner notice issued to Nimmagadda by the Interpol, the Ras Al Khaimah has requested for the arrest and deportation of Prasad. Though Nimmagadda had traveled to several countries in the past, he was not arrested anywhere, despite the Interpol’s notice.

Ras Al Khaimah targeted Nimmagadda, after TDP’s government in the past scrapped VANPIC project in Andhra Pradesh, as it was launched by YS Rajashekar Reddy, the political rival of Chandrababu Naidu. This led to severe losses to RAK, who considered the losses, as a willful act of Prasad and so has filed a case against him.
YSRCP leaders are trying their best to get Nimmagadda out of the case and even sought the Centre’s support for it. But the BJP leaders sounded helpless in the issue, anticipating that it would invite unnecessary troubles to the Centre.
