It is all but confirmed that Mahesh Babu and Trivikram’s SSMB28 won’t be releasing in theaters next Summer season. The initially announced April 28, 2023 slot might not be viable for the film anymore given the delay in the shoot.
Only 5 days shoot happened till now and it is impossible to complete the remaining part by next March and immediately go for release in April.
So, it is understood that April release slot is no longer option for the Mahesh and Trivikram collaborative project.
Amidst the postponement narrative, there are specualtions that the film’s release might get pushed to next August.
The makers are expected to drop an official update on the release date in the due course. But an August release is pretty much confirmed for now.
