Every year, TDP supremo Chandra Babu Naidu’s son and TDP working president Nara Lokesh announces the assets of his family members. Till now his numbers astonished the AP people as well as the political circles and many of them treat him like a laughing stock.
This time Lokesh announced that Mr. Naidu’s net assets have increased by Rs 87 lakh from Rs 3 cr to Rs 3.87 cr since last year and that of Ms. Bhuvaneswari from Rs 31 crore to Rs 39 cr. In the past year, his net assets decreased from Rs 21 cr to Rs 19 cr while his wife Ms. Brahmani’s net assets increased from around Rs 7 cr to Rs 11.5 cr.
Now the talk around AP political circles is that CBN is baffled with the IT raids and wants to get rid of them desperately. It is known that 2000 crore worth documents and money were seized from Naidu’s former PS and that made Lokesh announce their assets all of a sudden.
Quite interestingly, Chandra Babu’s grandson Devansh has more assets to his name than his grandfather. Lokesh’s son Devansh’s net assets rose from Rs 18 cr to Rs 19 cr.
Finally, Lokesh said, “Assets are being disclosed by our family for the last nine years. We demand that Jagan should disclose his assets, rather than being reported by the CBI and ED.” Now, the YSRCP leaders are demanding Lokesh to announce the assets of their Binamis too.
