Netflix’s $200 million mega project, The Gray Man has opened to disastrous reviews. The film premiered on Netflix on 22nd July and it was lambasted by the reviewers and common audience alike for its rather weak content.
Gray Man has superstars like Chris Evans, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, and Dhanush in important roles. The film is directed by Russo Brother of Avengers: End Game fame and it had heavy padding.
However, the early reviews and online word of mouth for the film are really bad. At this rate, the film might not be able to create the desired impact for Netflix or any of those involved.
Many of the reviews state that The Gray Man is big on style but utterly low on substance, which is a big no-no in the OTT space.
Gray Man is Netflix’s flagship global outing. It was produced on a huge budget.
