The Hindi streaming rights of Rajamouli’s RRR was sold to Netflix. Upon the film releasing on Netflix, RRR became an international sensation, to such a level that the film has won a Golden Globe award and is on its way to winning at the Oscar’s as well.
As such, Rajamouli is said to be planning to make Netflix get the streaming rights for all the languages of his upcoming film with Superstar Mahesh Babu. With Rajamouli already getting international recognition, it would be a massive chance for the director to flex his filmmaking skills even more.
The shooting of Mahesh and Rajamouli’s film is expected to begin in 2024, after Mahesh is done with Trivikram’s film, and its release as well.
