Nepal Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli, who shifted sides from India to China, created a chaos situation between India and Nepal. Most of his statements in the recent times are inclined towards China and are against India. Even though his party supported him initially, they started revolting against Oli in the recent times as Nepal is losing India.
Looks like KP Sharma Oli too understood the situation and the Chinese moves. On the occasion of the Independence day, Oli personally called Modi and the two had a talk on various aspects. Narendra Modi assured Oli that India would support Nepal in all possible ways just like how the nation did prior to the clash. India would support Nepal in Covid-19 efforts.
As the Indian subcontinent is the home for a quarter of world population, India felt that it would create more peace and harmony in the world if the neighbors are in good terms with one another.
