Among the films released in theatres this Sankranti season, Nari Nari Naduma Murari, starring Charming Star Sharwanand, is one of the notable releases and hit screens on January 14, 2026. Directed by Ram Abbaraju, the film promises a clean comedy entertainer. Let’s see how well it delivers.

Story:

Gautham (Sharwanand), an architect by profession, falls in love with Nithya (Sakshi Vaidya), the daughter of renowned lawyer Rama Lingayya (Sampath). The couple decides to get married, but with one unusual condition – the wedding should be a simple registered marriage without any grand celebrations. This condition becomes the turning point of Gautham’s life.

Why does Gautham hesitate to go ahead with the registered marriage? What is his connection with Diya (Samyuktha)? How do these relationships complicate his life? And whom does Gautham finally marry? The answers unfold on screen.

What about on-screen performances?

Sharwanand once again proves his strength in comedy and family entertainers. His timing feels natural, and he carries the film comfortably as a confused man stuck between emotions and situations. His styling and screen presence suit the role well.

Sakshi Vaidya, making her comeback after Agent, delivers a decent performance. Though she takes some time to settle in, she improves as the film progresses and fits the role well.
Samyuktha Menon adds glamour and energy to the film. Her chemistry with Sharwanand works effectively, and her performance is confident and appealing.

Senior actor Naresh and comedian Satya are major assets. Their scenes bring consistent laughs and help maintain the film’s fun mood. The comedy lands well in many places and keeps the audience engaged.

Supporting actors like Sudarshan, Sampath, Sunil, and Vennela Kishore play their parts effectively. Though their screen time is limited, they add value wherever they appear.
Sri Vishnu’s cameo is a pleasant surprise and brings freshness to the narration, offering a brief but enjoyable shift in the film’s flow.

What about off-screen talents?

The production values are good, and the film looks neat throughout. Vishal Chandrasekhar’s music is decent, though the background score could have been stronger, especially in the climax.

Cinematography by Yuvraj and Gnanasekhar V.S. is neat and visually pleasing. Editing could have been tighter in the second half, but it does not disturb the overall experience much.

The story follows a familiar path, but the director manages to keep it engaging with situational comedy and clean entertainment. While expectations from Ram Abbaraju were high after Samajavaragamana, this film works more as a relaxed, feel-good entertainer rather than a laugh riot.

What’s Good:
Sharwanand’s performance
Clean and decent comedy
Naresh and Satya’s humour
Family-friendly narration

What’s Bad:
Routine storyline
Slow pace in parts
Emotional depth could have been stronger

Verdict:
Overall, Nari Nari Naduma Murari is a light-hearted family entertainer that works mainly because of Sharwanand’s performance and effective comedy. Though the story is routine, the film offers enough fun moments to keep the audience entertained. With decent humour and clean presentation, it turns out to be a passable-to-enjoyable Sankranti watch.
