One of the main electoral promises made by chief minister Chandrababu Naidu during the intense 2024 election campaign was the creation of 20,00,000 jobs for the common public.
The government of Andhra Pradesh is now working on this front and it is IT mini Nagar Lokesh, who is overseeing the activities. Here is what he had to update on this matter now.
”The second meeting of the ministerial sub-committee formed to create 20 lakh jobs in the state was held at Undavalli residence on Monday. We will create 20 lakh jobs by 2029. Officials explained that there is a possibility of investments of Rs. 8,73,220 crore through the agreements signed so far, which will provide jobs to 5,27,824 people. I have ordered that the Investment Tracker portal should be made efficient.
All details related to land allotments and permissions should be included in the tracker. I said that the policies that have become a hindrance to those who want to invest will be reformed. I said that MSMEs will be encouraged in a big way.”
