IT Minister Nara Lokesh is currently in Davos as he is taking part in the World Economic Forum summit. In this context, he has met with several representatives of top companies globally.
In this context, Lokesh tweeted “I had a productive meeting with Mr. Ravi Lamba, Head of India Strategic Initiative at Temasek Holdings. I requested him to consider investing in industrial parks and data centers in Andhra Pradesh through CapitaLand, a subsidiary of Temasek Holdings. Additionally, I proposed developing infrastructure in Andhra Pradesh’s industrial clusters under the REIT model, as well as setting up commercial spaces in Visakhapatnam and Tirupati.”
Later, Lokesh tweeted “Delighted to meet @Wipro Executive Chairman @RishadPremji today. I requested him to explore expanding operations in Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada, and Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh, given the state’s rapid growth in the IT sector, aligning with Wipro’s expansion strategy. I highlighted that several prominent companies, including HCL, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Zoho, WNS Global Services, and Cyient, are already operating in Andhra Pradesh, with TCS set to commence operations in Visakhapatnam soon. With Wipro’s existing presence and plans for expansion,”
