In a positive exchange on social media, Andhra Pradesh’s Minister for IT and Industries, Nara Lokesh, extended a warm invitation to business tycoon Anand Mahindra, encouraging the Mahindra Group to consider Andhra Pradesh for future investments in electric vehicles (EVs), defence, and aerospace manufacturing.
Responding to Anand Mahindra’s tweet that expressed pride in partnering with Andhra Pradesh, Lokesh tweeted in both Telugu and English, saying, “ధన్యవాదాలు ఆనంద్ మహీంద్ర గారు! మనం కలిసిపనిచేద్దాం.” (Thank you Anand Mahindra! Let’s work together). He assured the Mahindra Group of tailor-made policies, attractive incentives, and a welcoming environment for their workforce in Andhra Pradesh.
“I have been reading about your group’s expansion plans in EVs, defence and aerospace manufacturing. Andhra Pradesh has tailor-made policies for each sub-sector that can deliver maximum incentives,” Lokesh noted, emphasizing the state’s readiness to support advanced manufacturing sectors. He added, “We promise to impress you with our speed & approach,” pointing out that the state offers ease of doing business along with a friendly environment for employees of diverse linguistic backgrounds.
Anand Mahindra had earlier tweeted in Telugu and English, expressing optimism about their involvement in the state: “ధన్యవాదాలు! ఆంధ్రప్రదేశ్లో అనేక అవకాశాలు ఉన్నాయి. We would be proud to be a partner in Andhra Pradesh’s journey.” His message highlighted that Mahindra Group’s teams are already in discussions regarding potential collaborations.
This social media interaction between the two leaders has sparked excitement over possible large-scale investments in Andhra Pradesh, especially in cutting-edge sectors that promise to create jobs and boost the state’s industrial growth.
With this exchange, Andhra Pradesh continues to position itself as a prime destination for global and national investors in sunrise sectors like EVs, defence, and aerospace.
