TDP member and National General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, has responded on the way the victims of Coronavirus are being treated in the state. He said that the government was least bothered about how the victims are being treated in the hospitals, and about their families.
The number of Coronavirus cases in Andhra Pradesh have started to increase rapidly in the last few days, with more and more cases being reported on a single day.
Elaborating on his statements, Nara Lokesh spoke about a person called Raja, from Dharmavaram in Anantapur district. He said that Raja tested positive for Coronavirus, but no hospital admitted him. His family members literally prayed to everyone and anyone to make sure that he was hospitalised, but unfortunately, he wasn’t. Eight hours later, Raja died under the tree he was sitting, unable to breathe.
Nara Lokesh said that this was the best example of the way the YSRCP has been dealing with the virus in the state. He also pointed out that this exposed the publicity gimmicks that Jagan was using to make people believe that the situation is under control.
Andhra Pradesh is now among one of the states with the fastest rate of growth, with respect to Coronavirus. On an average, it is contributing to at least 4000 cases in a day. The death rate is also significantly higher in the state, with more than 800 people having died already.
