Tuck Jagadish, featuring Natural star Nani in the lead role, has postponed its theatrical release date due to the rise in COVID-19 cases. The film was earlier scheduled to be in the theatres on 23rd April.
The latest buzz is that the makers are ditching the traditional theatrical release and heading for the digital release. As per reports, the team is currently holding talks with the OTT platforms to lock a better deal. It is heard Nani has also given his nod for skipping the theatrical release.
When the rumours about the OTT release of Tuck Jagadish are rife, the makers have denied these speculations and said the film is made for the theatrical experience. “Let us enjoy Tuck Jagadish and family in theatres whenever it is safe,” the makers said.
Tuck Jagadish has been directed by Shiva Nirvana of Majili fame. The movie features Ritu Varma, Jagapathi Babu, and Aishwarya Rajesh in other leading roles. Sahu Garapati and Harish Peddi are producing it under the Shine Screens banner, while Thaman is the music composer.
