Nani’s upcoming film ‘Shyam Singha Roy’ is all set to have a grand theatrical release on December 24th in four South Indian languages. It is known that Sai Pallavi is the leading lady in this periodic drama and the promos of the film have hyped Pallavi’s character in SSR.
Ahead of the big release, the star actress is now actively participating in movie promotions and she recently interacted with media.
Sai Pallavi, who plays Devadasi in the movie, said that she did this movie in terms of psychology compared to other movies. She also clarified that it is not entirely about the Devadasi system.
“I have read in school about the Devadasi system. They were initially servants of God. It was later evolved. We did not show them completely, we just took as much as we wanted for our movie. I’m ready to do a complete movie about them,” the actress said.
Speaking about her co-star Nani, the actress said that their characters in the film are so intense. She revealed that their previous film MCA helped her to feel comfortable while performing those characters.
Sai Pallavi also praised director Rahul Sankrityan as he knew what he exactly what he wants in the story.
