Natural Star Nani is set to release his next film, Saripodhaa Sanivaaram, on August 9, Directed by Vivek Athreya, the movie will be released in multiple languages and stars Priyanka Arul Mohan as the female lead. At the film’s pre-release event, Srikanth Odela, who directed Nani’s Dasara, shared a surprising story.
Srikanth, who recently won the Best Debut Director (Telugu) award at the 2024 Filmfare South Awards, revealed that he once faced pressure from his parents to give up his filmmaking dreams and get a regular job.
In response, he burned his academic certificates, a drastic move that mirrored a scene from Athreya’s film Brochevarevarura. Srikanth Odela is now preparing for his next big project with Nani, which is expected to start filming soon.
