Nani’s market has been capped at the Rs 40 crore mark and that too only MCA breached this mark. Now, Nani is focused on increasing market and he believes gaining mass image is the key for the same.
Nani is said to be trying really hard for the mass image with his upcoming film, Dasara.
The common conception is that Nani doesn’t have the demeanor for mass films. This was highlighted with the failure of Tuck Jagadish. But that isn’t stopping him from taking the mass route again.
Dasara is the costliest film in Nani’s career as the makers are spending around Rs 35 crores on the film. It’s billed to be an out and out mass film with rustic and rural touch.
Nani hopes that the rustic vibe and mass content will help increase his market and he is going the extra mile for the film with all the makeover and all.
As things stand, the makers are taking a risk on Nani by overspending on the film. The onus is on Nani to deliver the goods and fetch profits to those involved.
Even the producer, Sudhakar Cherukuri is badly in need of success as his previous films Aadavallu Meeku Johaarlu, Virataparvam, RamaRao On Duty were all disasters. Can Nani come to the rescue with Dasara?
