Natural star Nani – he doesn’t need any introduction down South. Yes, Nani, who cemented his place in the audience hearts with his natural acting, is currently awaiting for the release of his next film Gang Leader.
Directed by Vikram K. Kumar, the film will hit the screens on September 13th, 2019. Gang Leader has a stellar cast, including veteran actress Lakshmi, Saranya Ponvannan and Priyanka Arul Mohan.
During the film’s promotions, Nani shared an interesting detail about his career. Nani stated that when his films like Middle Class Abbayi (MCA) released and collected heavily at the box office, a few section of people questioned why Nani acted in a below-par movie like MCA.

When Nani stunned everyone with his stellar performance in Jersey as a struggling cricketer, critics asked why Nani acted in a movie which undermined the hero and glorified the heroine. Incidentally, Jersey was also a blockbuster hit.
Nani further said that it is quite incredible to know these conflicting views of fans, but he will continue to make good movies. Nani also admitted that he continues to act in films to enthrall his audience.
Well, is Nani complaining about the audience mindset. But, we don’t think so. Nani just explained how the audience expect a film from their favorite actor.
