Several opined that the impact of Janasena would be more on TDP, expecting that the new party’s vote share would break the considerable vote share of TDP.
Janasena being one of the main reasons for Telugu Desam to form the government in 2014 and Pawan Kalyan staying away from the party in power in the 2019 elections, there were several anticipations saying that the Janasena’s jolt to TDP would bring down the latter party down from the government in 2019.
But after the elections, multiple surveys couldn’t even show 5 seats for Janasena, which relaxed both the big parties – TDP and YSRCP. But reportedly, in a secret survey conducted by the close circles of TDP, it was revealed that the impact of Janasena is going to be big. Most of the constituencies, which TDP won in 2014, are going to be bagged by Janasena this time, the reports reveal.
Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has been worrying over the outcomes in surveys and is reportedly planning to convince the winning MLAs in both Janasena and YSRCP to join TDP, so that Naidu can retain the government if there’s a hung. Right after the announcement of results, Naidu is going to implement the convincing programme seriously and has already started preparing the strategies for it.
