For quite some time now, there have been several speculations and reports that the Telugu Desam Party’s president, Nara Chandrababu Naidu, was trying to get back into the good books of the BJP once again, and be part of the NDA, after he ruined things for his party ahead of the 2019 elections, when he chose to quit his partnership with the BJP, and chose to team up with the Congress, when the leader even went on to make several controversial statements on PM Modi.
These speculations only further gained fuel after Naidu met with PM Modi, and the party’s National General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, met with Amit Shah on the same day. Naidu hasn’t made a single comment so far, regarding this issue, and while the BJP seemed to be interested in collaborating with the TDP once again, the Telangana BJP wing denied any sort of interest in the centre wanting to collaborate with the TDP once again.
Now, Naidu has finally responded to these speculations, and said that he doesn’t wish to say anything about the matter, and that those who started the debate should answer these questions as well. On the whole, the leader continues to keep everyone in the dar for sure.
