Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has called all the TDP candidates who have participated in the AP assembly and Lok Sabha elections for a meeting on 22nd of April.
Reportedly, the meeting is to discuss about the way, polling was conducted and to review it. Right after concluding the elections, Naidu repeatedly went against the EC in several occasions and even protested against it, in Delhi.
Naidu alleged that the Prime Minister Narendra Modi had a secret pact with YSRCP Chief Jagan and Telangana Chief Minister KCR, to bring down TDP government in Andhra Pradesh. However, the YSRCP and BJP circles, have completely denied the allegations saying that those are baseless.
Adding to it, several felt that Naidu’s actions were indirectly indicating that he is going to lose the elections and is so doing the unnecessary hullabaloo. However, Naidu announced that he would win about 130 seats and retain the government in the state.
At this point of time, Naidu conducting a meeting with all the TDP candidates would only worsen the situations, the analysts opine. If at all, the TDP government wins in the election, then Naidu will have to face a deep embarrassment for the allegations he raised on the EC. But most of the surveys conducted by the non-TDP media have revealed the victory of YSRCP and assured that TDP would come down from the government this time. Having seeing the confidence of Jagan Mohan Reddy, right after the elections and his meetings with Prashant Kishor, is also confirming the same.
Even the internal surveys conducted by a media moghal, who is identified as an ardent supporter of TDP, also revealed the victory of YSRCP. This survey is now worrying Naidu big time and is so making the best efforts to create all sorts of disturbances before the announcement of the results.
