Telugu Desam Party chief Nara Chandrababu Naidu has been commenting a lot about the various setbacks that took place during the YSRCP’s regime and has now spoken about how the YSRCP is denying basic rights to the contractors working on the Krishna Delta repairs. An arbitrary condition was recently laid down by the YSRCP government in the tender documents inviting contractors for the job, in which it was mentioned that they cannot take legal support towards the payment of their bills.
It is to be noted that the YSRCP government has become quite infamous for not paying its dues on time, and not paying them at all, in most conditions. This happened with the contractors that the government hired to lay roads in the state. The contractors abandoned their jobs after the government failed to pay them their dues. They sought the support of the judiciary, which became an issue for the government later on.
Speaking on the same, Chandrababu said that the Jagan government drove the state back 30 years with its policies, and its welfare schemes, which not only drained the revenue and did not create any revenue surplus, but also failed to make any development or impact in the state at all, apart from creating new problems and bringing violence to the forefront.
